Privacy Policy

• Account information: your name and email address. If you set a password, we store only a salted cryptographic hash of it, never the password itself.
• Your videos: the walkthrough videos you upload, plus details you attach to them such as a property address, title, or folder.
• Share-link viewing analytics: when someone opens a link you shared, we record events like views, watch progress, and saves for that link. Recipients do not need an account, and this viewing data is anonymous: it tells you the link was watched, not who watched it.
• Device and push tokens: if you enable notifications, we store the device token needed to deliver them.
• Payment information: paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Stripe handles your card; we never see or store card numbers. We keep subscription status and billing records tied to your account.

Videos are uploaded to Cloudflare Stream, our video hosting and delivery provider, which handles secure upload, transcoding, thumbnails, and streaming. We store metadata about each video (title, address, duration, processing status) in our own database, and imagery in Cloudflare R2 storage.

Your library is private. A video becomes visible to someone else only when you create a share link for it, and you can stop sharing at any time. There is no marketplace, no public feed, no swiping, and no buyer profiles: BuilderSwipe does not publish your content or build public profiles from it.

• Operate the service: create and secure your account, host and deliver your videos, and power your share links.
• Show you your analytics: report views, watch progress, and saves on the links you share.
• Communicate: send password resets, transactional notifications, and service updates.
• Improve and protect: understand usage, fix errors, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable and secure.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

We share information only as needed to run the service:

• Service providers: infrastructure partners such as Cloudflare (hosting, video, storage, database), Stripe (payments), and our email provider, acting on our behalf.
• People you share with: anyone with a share link you created can watch that video until you stop sharing it.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect people and the integrity of the service.
• Business transfers: if BuilderSwipe is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We use industry-standard safeguards (encrypted transport, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but protecting your trust is central to how we build.

• Access and correction: you can review and update your account information at any time.
• Deletion: you can request deletion of your account, your videos, and associated personal information by emailing us from your account address, subject to legal retention.
• Sharing: you control every share link and can revoke any of them at any time.

BuilderSwipe is intended for professional and adult use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use of BuilderSwipe after an update means you accept the revised policy.
