Terms of Service

You own
what you upload.

Plain English, no legalese. These terms cover your use of BuilderSwipe. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

BuilderSwipe is a video workspace for real estate professionals. You record or upload property walkthrough videos, organize them in a private library, share them through links you control, and see when they were watched.

Your content stays yours

You keep ownership of every video you upload. To run the service, you grant BuilderSwipe a license to host, store, process, transcode, watermark where applicable, and deliver your videos to the people you share them with. That license exists only to operate the service for you and ends for a video when you delete it, subject to short-lived backups.

You must have the rights

Only upload video you filmed or otherwise have the right to use, including any permissions required for the property and any third-party material in the footage. You are responsible for the content you upload and the accuracy of the details you attach to it.

Acceptable use

BuilderSwipe is for real property videos. Do not upload or share content that is unlawful, sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or that infringes someone else’s rights. Do not attempt to break, probe, or abuse the service or other people’s accounts. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Free and Plus

BuilderSwipe offers a Free plan and a paid Plus subscription (monthly or yearly), billed through Stripe. There is no trial: Free is free for as long as you like. You can cancel Plus at any time; your subscription then runs to the end of the period you paid for, after which your account returns to the Free plan and its limits. Your videos are not deleted when a subscription ends. Current prices are listed on the pricing page.

Termination

You can stop using BuilderSwipe and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the service or other users; where reasonable, we will tell you why.

Disclaimers and limits

BuilderSwipe is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use of BuilderSwipe after an update means you accept the revised terms.
